These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of KarmiloFox, including our mobile application, website located at https://karmilofox.online/, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service. By downloading, accessing, purchasing, subscribing to, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

KarmiloFox is a language-learning application that may provide:

  • visual vocabulary learning;
  • pronunciation and audio practice;
  • typing exercises;
  • spaced repetition learning;
  • topic-based vocabulary;
  • progress tracking;
  • learning reminders;
  • a multilingual user interface;
  • free and premium learning features;
  • subscription-based premium access.

The exact features available may depend on your device, app version, selected language, region, subscription status, platform, and app store availability.

You may use the Service only if you can legally agree to these Terms.

The Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or a higher minimum age where required by local law, without appropriate parental or guardian consent.

If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from your parent or legal guardian to use the Service.

By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. App Stores

KarmiloFox may be downloaded through third-party app stores, including Apple App Store and Google Play.

Your use of the Service may also be subject to the rules, terms, and policies of the app store from which you downloaded the app. You agree to comply with all applicable app store terms.

Apple App Store and Google Play are not responsible for providing support for KarmiloFox, except as required by their own policies and applicable law.

5. Accounts, Profiles, and App Data

Some features may require a profile, account, device-based identifier, app store account, or subscription entitlement.

You are responsible for keeping your device, app store account, and login credentials secure.

You agree to provide accurate information when required and not to impersonate another person or provide false information.

We may suspend or restrict access to the Service if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, used the Service unlawfully, attempted to bypass premium access controls, or created risk for us, other users, app stores, or third parties.

6. Free Features and Premium Features

KarmiloFox may offer both free and premium features. Free features may be limited.

Premium features may include expanded learning access, additional practice, premium vocabulary features, progress tools, or other paid functionality.

We may add, change, limit, suspend, or remove features at any time, including free or premium features, where permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that every feature will be available at all times, in every country, on every device, or in every app version.

7. Subscriptions, Trials, and Payments

KarmiloFox may offer auto-renewable subscriptions for premium access. Current planned subscription options include:

  • Monthly subscription: $9.99 per month.
  • Yearly subscription: $39.99 per year.

Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, platform, app store, promotional offer, or local pricing rules. The final price and subscription terms shown in Apple App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase will apply.

7.1 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current subscription period or trial period.

If you start a free trial and do not cancel before the trial ends, you may be charged automatically according to the subscription plan you selected.

Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

7.2 iOS Purchases

If you purchase a subscription on iOS, payment is charged to your Apple ID account. Your subscription is managed by Apple.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Apple’s terms, refund rules, billing rules, and cancellation procedures apply to purchases made through Apple App Store.

7.3 Android Purchases

If you purchase a subscription on Android, payment is processed through Google Play Billing. Your subscription is managed by Google Play.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Google Play subscription settings.

Google Play’s terms, refund rules, billing rules, and cancellation procedures apply to purchases made through Google Play.

7.4 Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play are handled by the relevant app store according to its policies and applicable law.

KarmiloFox cannot directly refund purchases that are controlled by Apple or Google unless the platform provides such functionality to us.

If you have a billing issue, please contact the app store where you purchased the subscription. You may also contact us at karmilofox.app@outlook.com and we will try to help where possible.

7.5 Subscription Access

Premium access is available only while your subscription is active, unless otherwise stated.

If your payment fails, your subscription expires, your trial ends, or your subscription is cancelled, access to premium features may end.

We may verify your subscription status through Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or another subscription management provider.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful purposes;
  • copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Service;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service, except where allowed by law;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Service;
  • access the Service through bots, scrapers, automated tools, or unauthorized scripts;
  • attempt to bypass subscription controls or premium restrictions;
  • use the Service to create a competing product by copying content, design, structure, or functionality;
  • upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code;
  • misuse support channels;
  • infringe intellectual property rights;
  • use the Service in a way that harms KarmiloFox, other users, app stores, or third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, user interface, software, text, graphics, illustrations, icons, logos, audio, vocabulary structure, learning flows, and other content, is owned by KarmiloFox or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial language learning.

You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission, except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

10. Educational Content Disclaimer

KarmiloFox is designed to support language learning, vocabulary practice, pronunciation practice, and study consistency.

We do not guarantee that use of the Service will result in fluency, specific learning outcomes, exam success, employment opportunities, or any particular level of language ability.

The Service is educational and informational. It is not a substitute for professional instruction, official certification, or formal education where such certification is required.

11. User Content and Feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or improvement requests, you agree that we may use them to improve KarmiloFox without obligation to compensate you.

If the Service allows you to submit content in the future, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit that content and that it does not violate laws or third-party rights.

13. Third-Party Services

The Service may use or link to third-party services, including app stores, payment processors, analytics tools, crash reporting tools, hosting providers, cloud services, or support tools.

We are not responsible for third-party services, websites, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

14. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable and high-quality Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, update, or restrict any part of the Service at any time, where permitted by law.

We may also release updates that change features, design, content, or compatibility requirements.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

  • you violate these Terms;
  • your use creates legal or security risk;
  • you misuse the Service;
  • required by law or app store policy;
  • the Service is discontinued.

Termination does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not make warranties that:

  • the Service will meet your expectations;
  • the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • learning results will be guaranteed;
  • all content will always be accurate, complete, or available;
  • defects will always be corrected immediately;
  • the Service will be compatible with every device or operating system.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KarmiloFox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, device issues, learning outcomes, or interruption of service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50 if you paid nothing.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

18. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KarmiloFox from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

  • your use of the Service;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of applicable law;
  • your infringement of third-party rights;
  • your misuse of the Service.

This section applies to the extent permitted by applicable law.

19. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws.

If local law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights remain in effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we update them, we will change the “Last updated” date above.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and cancel any active subscription through the applicable app store if you no longer want it to renew.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where KarmiloFox is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

If a specific legal entity or jurisdiction is added later, this section should be updated accordingly.
