Usage Rules

These Rules explain the practical standards for using KarmiloFox fairly, safely, and responsibly.

KarmiloFox is a personal vocabulary-learning service. It does not currently provide public profiles, messaging, community posting, or user-to-user content sharing. These Rules therefore focus on protecting the learning service, its content, purchases and subscriptions, support channels, and users.

By using KarmiloFox, you agree to follow these Rules together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

1. Use KarmiloFox for Lawful Personal Learning

Use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial language learning unless we give you written permission for another use. Do not use KarmiloFox to harm another person, violate applicable law, or infringe third-party rights.

2. Respect Premium Access and Store Purchases

You must not:

  • bypass, disable, manipulate, or imitate Premium entitlement checks;
  • use an unauthorized purchase, device, app-store account, subscription, or Lifetime entitlement;
  • misrepresent purchase, subscription, billing, trial, or refund information;
  • abuse trials, introductory offers, promotions, cancellations, or refunds;
  • attempt to obtain paid access through fraud or technical manipulation.

Manage purchases and subscriptions through the same app store account where they were purchased. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Buying Lifetime also does not cancel an existing subscription; cancel that subscription separately to prevent its next renewal.

3. Protect KarmiloFox Content

KarmiloFox includes protected software, design, illustrations, icons, text, vocabulary organization, translations, reading guides, audio, exercises, and learning flows. You may use this content inside the app for your own learning, but you must not:

  • copy, extract, record, republish, sell, license, or redistribute it in bulk;
  • scrape or automatically download app content or audio;
  • use KarmiloFox content to build, populate, or train a competing product;
  • remove ownership notices or falsely present KarmiloFox content as your own.

4. Do Not Attack or Interfere With the Service

You must not:

  • probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or attack the app, website, or cloud resources;
  • bypass Firebase App Check, authentication, access, or security controls;
  • use bots, scrapers, unauthorized scripts, emulators, or automation to abuse the Service;
  • access non-public code, APIs, files, systems, or data without permission;
  • introduce malware or exploit a vulnerability;
  • reverse engineer or decompile the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

5. Use Support Responsibly

Support channels are for genuine app, content, subscription, privacy, and security questions. Do not send spam, threats, harassment, phishing, fraudulent claims, repeated unrelated promotions, malware, or knowingly false reports.

Share only information needed to explain your issue. Never send passwords, verification codes, full payment-card details, government identifiers, or another person's private information.

6. Report Content or Technical Problems

Language content may have regional differences, and technical problems can occur. If you find an incorrect translation, reading guide, pronunciation, image, missing audio file, billing issue, security concern, or another problem, contact karmilofox.app@outlook.com with enough detail for us to investigate.

Do not publicly disclose an unresolved security vulnerability in a way that could harm users or the Service before giving us a reasonable opportunity to review it.

7. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe these Rules, our Terms, app-store requirements, or applicable law have been violated, we may restrict Service access, protect or block cloud resources, preserve relevant records, contact the applicable app store or provider, or report serious unlawful activity where required. Any action will be proportionate where reasonably possible and subject to applicable law.

8. Changes to These Rules

We may update these Rules as KarmiloFox features and risks change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. If future versions add public, social, or user-submitted content, these Rules may be expanded before those features are made available.
